SICILY. Selinos. Circa 540-515 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 8.92 g). Selinon leaf. Rev. Incuse square divided into twelve sections, six of which are raised. Arnold-Biucchi Group I, 7. HGC 2, 1211. Selinus Hoard 32. SNG ANS 677-8. Beautifully toned and sharply struck. Thin flan crack and a few minor marks and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
